C. Mack Riddle founded Mack’s Finance on May 11, 1983. Mack had over 20 years of experience working in the small consumer loan business for Ideal Finance, Provident Finance, World Finance and Security Finance before venturing out on his own and opening this business. His vision and dream became a reality that day in May when we first opened our doors for business. Since that time, our company grew from one office on Dunbar Street in Spartanburg, SC to four offices in Spartanburg, Greenville, Columbia, and Gaffney. Shortly after opening his business, Sandra Riddle (Mack’s wife) came to work full time for the company. Years later, they decided to sell two of the company offices and kept the Spartanburg and Gaffney offices. These offices have prospered and have provided a valuable asset to the communities they serve. We have helped literally thousands of customers meet their financial needs by providing them with a timely loan to help them when they needed it.
Mack and Sandra developed a team of people who have helped contribute to the lives of many people in and around our area. Our goal as a second generation family business is to continue to provide a much-needed commodity to the customers we serve as well as providing financially for the employees and families of those who work for us.

Michael Cooper, President/CEO
In August 1989 after college, Michael joined Mack's as an Assistant Manager / Over Staff employee to help in each of the four branch offices wherever he was needed from week to week. In January of 1990, Michael was promoted to Branch Manager of the Spartanburg office, in March of 2008 Mack officially retired from Day to Day operations and Michael was promoted to President/CEO.

Leigh Anne Tennyson, Branch Manager (Spartanburg)
Leigh
Anne came to work at Mack's in 2002 as an Assistant Manager in the
Spartanburg branch. She left to pursue other opportunities in the
summer of 2007 and then returned to us in the summer of 2008 to take
over the Branch Manager duties in our Gaffney office. After performing well in the Gaffney office, she was promoted to manage the Spartanburg office in the summer of 2009.

Kim Beaver, Branch Manager (Gaffney)
Kim came to work at Mack's in May 2006 as an Assistant Manager in the Gaffney branch. She had previous management experience with National Finance in NC. In the summer of 2009 she was promoted to manage the Gaffney office.
